Your luxury trip starts in Cairo, where we go to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Spend time exploring the complex with your private guide, who knows the picturesque angles as well as the history-rich areas. You can choose to walk around or get on a camel or a horse-drawn carriage when the weather gets too hot.
One place a lot of people miss at the Giza Complex is the Solar Boat Museum, also known as the Khufu Ship. Go see the remains of an ancient boat said to have been found lying next to the Great Pyramid in 1954.
Next, head over to the newly-commissioned Grand Egyptian Museum to see over 100,000 artifacts displayed from the Egyptian Dynasty.
There is a different side of Cairo, and you’ll see that when you visit Coptic Cairo. Explore the historical churches, mosques, and museums in the area for a deeper sense of Old Cairo. In the evening, you can choose an optional excursion to try a Nile Dinner cruise to enjoy live music and the stunning view of the city lights.
After the Cairo adventure, we’ll move to Luxor, where you’ll see the Karnak Temple. There’s plenty to explore over there, but you can spend more time at less-crowded spots, like the Sacred Lake, chapels, and sanctuaries.
When you go through the Avenue of Sphinxes in Karnak Temple, you’ll land at the Luxor Temple. The Luxor Temple is quite smaller than Karnak, but there’s a lot for you to unpack over there too, like the Court of Ramesses II and the Colonade of Imhotep.
Cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Nobles, and the Valley of the Queens. These are basically where Pharaohs and rich merchants rest to guide their journey into the afterlife. Don’t forget to visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Medinet Habu Temple nearby.
If you love adventures, try a hot air balloon ride to see Luxor’s temples, desert hills, and the great Nile drifting below.
Lastly, go over to Aswan to see the stunning Philae Temple of the goddess Isis at night so you can catch the light and sound show. Next, explore the Nubian Museum to see the exhibits showing the culture, traditions, and history of Nubia.
Other places worth exploring include the Aswan Dam, Elephantine Island, Aswan Botanical Garden, and the Unfinished Obelisk. And if you’ve got more time, extend your tour to Abu Simbel and end the trip on a boat cruise or felucca ride across the Nile.

The second day of your tour of Egypt will start with a glorious breakfast in your hotel and a subsequent check-out. Your professional Traviaz Egyptologist guide will then take you to see some of the best monuments of ancient Egypt
Pyramids in Giza
Your tour starts at the Giza Pyramids Complex, home to the world-famous pyramids built during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty. Explore the biggest and oldest of the three pyramids, the Great Pyramid of Khufu constructed between 2580- 2560 BC. Once risen to a height of approximately 146 meters, this remarkable monument embodies the genius of engineering and architectural accuracy with which ancient Egypt was built.
Great Pyramid
The highlight of the plateau is the Great Pyramid, which was erected as a burial site for King Khufu (2609-2584 BC). This giant monument was planned by his great architect, Hemiunu, and at one time, it was 147 meters high and completed within 15 years. It weighs about six million tons, and it is the only surviving marvel of the old world--and when one is standing before the monument, it is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a magnificent structure constructed out of limestone that has the body of a lion and also the face that is believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre. Our guide will explain its symbolism, mysteries, and the famous Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, which narrates a legend of the young prince and the dead Sphinx.
Commonly known as the Valley Temple of the Giza Plateau, this amazing temple was a part of a funerary complex of Pharaoh Khafre.
The temple was constructed using huge limestone and granite blocks. The temple served as the sacred site where the king’s body was prepared for burial before being transported to his pyramid.
The temple is closely connected with the ancient funerary ceremony called the "Opening of the Mouth" ritual.
This is a very important religious activity that is thought to revive the senses of the dead in the afterlife. This religious ceremony is believed to help the king to breathe, talk, see, and eat in the afterlife again
The Valley Temple is an architectural masterpiece that shows the accuracy and skill of the architects in the Old Kingdom.
After you are done exploring, we'll take you to a fantastic restaurant with a great view of the Pyramids or the Nile, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch.
This will be followed by a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses a brilliant collection of artifacts that spans over 5000 years of Egyptian history, including highlights such as the Hanging Obelisk, the monumental Statue of King Ramses II, and the impressive Grand Staircase. With the help of your TRAVIAZ guide, you will know more about the ancient Egyptian civilization, royal traditions, and architectural achievements. Optional VIP entry gives the opportunity to enjoy the museum more with extra exclusive exhibits.
After your tour, we'll take you back to your hotel in Cairo so you can spend the night.

Temple of Karnak
Your first stop of the day will be to the Karnak Temple Complex, which dates back to the year 1971BC and 20BC, the largest religious site ever built. Dedicated to the Theban triad Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, Karnak was built over centuries, and its structure includes towering pylons, on the sacred lakes and the famous Great Hypostyle Hall, with its forest of giant columns.
Karnak played a central role in ancient religious life and was the setting for important ceremonies such as the Opet Festival.
Luxor Temple
You will then continue your trip to the beautifully preserved Luxor Temple that is gracefully situated in the heart of the city. Unlike other temples, Luxor Temple was dedicated primarily to royal ceremonies rather than worship alone. Its grand colonnades, statues, and reliefs reflect its importance in coronations and religious festivals and beautifully illustrate the architectural brilliance of ancient Egypt.
After you are done with the tours, the team will return you to the Nile cruise where you will have a sumptuous dinner and spend the night onboard, while sailing along the timeless waters of the Nile.

The reliefs and hieroglyphs are so detailed that they bring to life the ancient Egyptian mythology of the legendary battle between Horus and his uncle Seth. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the religious significance, symbolism, and architectural brilliance that make Edfu Temple one of Egypt's most important sacred sites. Sail to Kom Ombo.

The dam was completed in the 20 th century, and it is very important in controlling the floods along the Nile, generating hydroelectric power, and creating one of the largest artificial lakes in the world, Lake Nasser.
Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient granite quarries of Aswan. This obelisk was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, and was meant to be the tallest obelisk in the history of its construction. During its carving, cracks were found that led to the abandonment of the project, leaving behind the rare and valuable experience of the ancient Egyptian method of stone-cutting.
Continue your tour to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis.
