The three Pyramids of Giza
The Golden Pyramid Complex of Giza is one of the most significant marvels of the ancient world, soaring out of the sands of the desert. Constructed around 2600 BC, these monumental pyramids were the eternal graves of pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty of Egypt and are still a strong reminder of the ancient aspiration and brilliance.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
The next stop will be to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s oldest and most vibrant markets. The narrow alleys are filled with shops selling jewelry, spices, textiles, handicrafts, and traditional souvenirs. You’ll also have time to relax at a local café and enjoy authentic Egyptian tea or coffee while absorbing the lively atmosphere of the bazaar.
The Egyptian Museum
Prepare to be captivated as you step into the grand halls of the Egyptian Museum. The Museum houses a brilliant collection of artifacts that spans over 5000 years of Egyptian history. Among its priceless treasures are artifacts that had remained undiscovered for over 3,500 years, until the 20th century, when most of them were discovered. This museum holds the largest and most valuable collection of ancient Egyptian art and it provides a personal and unique insight into the life, beliefs and achievements of this large civilization. With your expert guide by your side, the stories behind these masterpieces will vividly come to life.

The dam is very important in controlling the floods along the Nile, generating hydroelectric power, and creating one of the largest artificial lakes in the world, Lake Nasser.
The tour then concludes with a visit to the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis. Dating back to the Greco-Roman period(380-362 BC), this temple is closely associated with the myth of Osiris, his death at the hands of Set, and his resurrection through the devotion of Isis. Philae Temple is, to this day, one of the most ambient and eye-catching places along the Nile.
After your tour, the team will transfer you to your Nile Cruise to relax and enjoy dinner on board.

Start your day with breakfast on board your Nile cruise as you sail along the Nile, then explore two of Upper Egypt’s most important temples with your Egyptologist guide arranged by Traviaz.
This distinctive double temple dates back to the Ptolemaic period and is uniquely dedicated to two gods--Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Its beautifully preserved reliefs offer intriguing insight into ancient Egyptian medicine, rituals, and daily life. You will be marveled at its magnificent carvings and the intriguing on-site Crocodile Museum that sheds light on the sacred role these animals played in ancient belief systems. The symmetrical design embodies the ancient Egyptian concept of balance and duality. You'll find some remarkable reliefs inside the temple that show ancient surgical and medical instruments.
After the visit, you will return to your cruise to relax as you continue sailing along the Nile.
Later, arrive in Edfu to explore the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus, devoted to the falcon god Horus. The temple is considered to be one of the well-preserved temples in all of Egypt. The temple has a monumental pylon entrance, a spacious open courtyard, and grand hypostyle halls. The reliefs and hieroglyphs are so detailed that they bring to life the ancient Egyptian mythology of the legendary battle between Horus and his uncle Seth. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the religious significance, symbolism, and architectural brilliance that make Edfu Temple one of Egypt's most important sacred sites.
After completing the visits, the team will return you to your Nile Cruise so you can relax as the journey continues.
