Welcome to Egypt! On your arrival at the Cairo International Airport, the friendly Traviaz representative will be there to receive the family and facilitate your arrival process. You will have someone to help you with the formalities of arrival, passport control, and handling of luggage so that you can start your journey in a comfortable and stress-free environment.

Explore the biggest and oldest of the three pyramids, the Great Pyramid of Khufu constructed between 2580- 2560 BC. Once risen to a height of approximately 146 meters, this remarkable monument embodies the genius of engineering and architectural accuracy with which ancient Egypt was built.
The highlight of the plateau is the Great Pyramid, which was erected as a burial site for King Khufu (2609-2584 BC). This giant monument was planned by his great architect, Hemiunu, and at one time, it was 147 meters high and completed within 15 years. It weighs about six million tons, and it is the only surviving marvel of the old world--and when one is standing before the monument, it is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a magnificent structure constructed out of limestone that has the body of a lion and also the face that is believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre.
